At Christmas Decoration Store, we want your holiday experience to be as magical as the season itself. While we carefully pack each item with Christmas cheer, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary. Please review our policy below to ensure a smooth process.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original condition (unused, unassembled, with all tags and packaging intact). For the safety of all our customers, certain seasonal items cannot be returned (see non-returnable items below).

Christmas Note: Due to the seasonal nature of our products, we recommend initiating returns as soon as possible to ensure we can process them before the holiday rush!

Non-Returnable Items

To maintain hygiene and quality standards, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Christmas Candles & Candleholders (for safety reasons)
  • Artificial Christmas Trees that have been assembled
  • Christmas Tree Watering Systems (hygiene reasons)
  • Christmas Stockings that have been personalized

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for Approval – Our elves will review your request within 1-2 business days and send return instructions.
  3. Package Your Item – Securely repackage the item in its original packaging with all accessories.
  4. Ship It Back – Use the provided return label (customer pays return shipping unless the return is due to our error).
  5. Receive Your Refund/Exchange – Once received and inspected, we’ll process your refund or ship your exchange.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
  • Exchange Shipping: We cover shipping costs for replacement items.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Notification: You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed

Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.

Exchange Policy

Prefer a different decoration? We’re happy to help!

  • Exchanges must be for items of equal or greater value
  • If the new item costs more, you’ll pay the difference
  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference
  • Exchange items must be available in our current inventory

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your holiday spirit arrives damaged or incorrect:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected]
  2. Include photos of the damaged item and packaging
  3. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you

Holiday Return Exceptions

For orders placed between November 15 – December 25:

  • Extended return window until January 10
  • Higher volume may cause slightly longer processing times
  • Exchanges prioritized over refunds during peak season
